Information on the Qitaky training camps


Several times a year, the Romanian Qitaky Foundation organizes Qigong training camps in a natural setting. These camps are open to all those interested, even if they have had no previous Qigong experience.

Goals:
To acquire exercises for health on pre-defined topics (such as: techniques for mobilizing prenatal energy, or controlling energy flow along the endocrine chain), to improve the knowledge of experienced practitioners, to organize debates on topics formulated by Master Adrian Florea, to acquire step by step the movements in Chen style Taijiquan, to practice self-defense routines based on the martial arts and Qigong energy techniques.

Seaside Training Camp (8 days)
Daily schedule:
  • 5.50 - 8.00 a.m.: the first training session, on the beach (collecting energy during sunrise, various other exercises, Taijiquan);
  • 12.00 a.m. - 1.30 p.m.: theoretical seminar (participants may watch documentaries on Qigong, followed by comments, debates on a topic selected every day by the Master);
  • 4.00 - 5.30 p.m.: self-defense training session (hitting techniques, how to block or immobilize your opponent, how to escape being immobilized, exercises in the seawater);
  • 7.30 - 9.00 p.m.: last Qigong training session on the beach (also including collecting energy from the Moon, the waves, and - when the sky is cloudy - applying the technique called "breaking the clouds").


    Mountain Training Camps (6 days)
    The winter training camp this year is held at the chalet "Valea cu Pesti" (near Lake Vidraru, Curtea de Arges), in the interval 4-10 January 2003.For further information and registration, call 314 66 10.
    Daily schedule:
  • 7.00 - 8.30 a.m.: the first indoor training session (thematic exercises, meditation, collecting energy, Taijiquan);
  • 10.00 - 11.30 a.m.: Taijiquan in the open, collecting energy from the trees;
  • 12.30 a.m. - 1.30 p.m.: theoretical seminar (participants may watch documentaries on Qigong, followed by comments, debates on a topic selected every day by the Master;
  • 4.30 - 6.00 p.m.: self-defense training session (hitting techniqus, immobilization, escaping immobilization or and strangulation);
  • 7.30 - 9.00 p.m.: last indoor training session (thematic exercises, meditation, collecting energy)

    Conditions for participation: Participants have to cover their accommodation, meal and transport expenses (prices are negotiated for groups, being lower than prices for individual tourists), and to pay a training fee.
