Qitaky Qigong style

A remarkable quality of the ancient art of Qigong is its ability to permanently adapt to modern life, while still preserving its ancient essence.

Having studied the extensive literature available on the art of longevity for over 20 years, Master Adrian Florea has selected therefrom the elements that can stimulate success and satisfaction for man in the 21st century, and that are easy to absorb by Western culture and thinking.

Regardless of age, background or social status, practitioners of Qitaky Qigong set out on the path towards the Great Transformation by an inner “beautification” of their spirit and soul. Supported by their faith (whatever religion they may belong to), practitioners become increasingly aware of their inner harmony and relationship with the environment. Qitaky Qigong promotes a lifestyle defined by inner and outer beauty, based on a trinity of perfect health: spirit, body and mind, whose interplay generates the foundation for success in life and work.

The word Qitaky was created by Adrian Florea from the initial syllables of three fundamental words: Qi(gong) – the art of energy, Ta(ijiquan) and Ky(okushinkai).

With the characteristics of Western lifestyle in mind, Master Florea has founded his style on two basic principles: To approach and explain phenomena and exercise from a strictly rigorous scientific perspective, which allows practitioners to acquire an accurate and logical perception of their meaning and value; To obtain good results and implement them in everyday life, in a way that only takes up a limited time in the practitioners busy life.

Moreover, adepts of Qitaky Qigong can acquire a variety of means and methods to diagnose, prevent and treat diseases. While being initiated in the art of energy, they can also attend courses in diet therapy, therapeutic massage, healing sounds, therapeutic use of sexual energy, as well as other courses meant to improve health and support a harmonious integration into society.

Since rigidity is an undeniable sign of death, Qitaky Qigong insists on developing and maintaining joint and muscle mobility even at advanced ages. In a simple formula, flexibility is taken to equate longevity. Practitioners combine physical and mental exercise to experience an extraordinary mental fitness and acquire a powerful body and spirit.
